First thing Thursday morning, former Engine 24 was taken to be loaded on a tractor trailer to be taken to its new home.
In 2009, the Grumman was replaced by a 2010 KME Predator as the front line engine. The Grumman was sold to Valley Springs Fire Department located in Valley Springs, Arkansas.
The members of Company 24 hope that the Grumman will serve the Valley Springs Fire Department as well as it did for Lisburn for 27 years as the front-line engine. Special thanks to Groff Equipment on the Carlisle Pike for allowing us to use their loading dock.
