On December 31, 2012, Engine 24 and crew attended the New Year’s Eve Britches Drop at the Lower Allen Community Park.

This has become an annual event where the residents of Lisburn and the surrounding communities hoist a pair of oversized yellow britches up a flag pole and drop them to celebrate the coming of the New Year. The fire company provides additional lighting for the ceremony by attending with the Engine.

The members and officers of the Lisburn Community Fire Company would like to wish everyone a safe and happy 2013.
